The Wheel succesfull @ International Photography Awards 2023

My selfpublished book "The Wheel" achieved a "Honorable Mention" at "International Photography Awards" 2023! Means it came pretty close to an Award in the catogorie "Selfpublished Books" as a non-pro. The renowned IPA recieves 14.000 entries every year from 120 countries.

Hermannstraße @ tunnel19 Studio

It is known as one of the noisiest, most chaotic, dirtiest and most honest streets in Berlin: Neukölln’s Hermannstrasse between the A 100 and Hermannplatz on the border with Kreuzberg. We set out together on a Saturday in November 2021 to capture something of the special flair of this street.

Bio

Martin Kesting lives and works in Berlin Neukölln. In his sculptures and installations, found objects and materials formed by the elements are often combined with photographs and text. He is interested in impermanence, intermediate states, traces and structures. He exhibits since 2014, publishes aphoto books, and creates jewellery. He is a member of the Berlin artist group tunnel19.
